Background
I'm Michael, a developer who came to software by way of the recording studio.
Before I built websites and business systems, I worked as a recording engineer in Los Angeles. I collaborated with major recording artists, producers, and record-label stakeholders, and earned a gold-record engineering credit for my work with Jill Scott. The studio taught me how to translate a creative goal into technical execution, manage complicated sessions, communicate with demanding clients, and deliver when time and expectations were high.
When I became a father, the late-night studio schedule no longer fit the life I wanted for my family. I made an intentional change: I stepped away to be a present parent and began looking for work that offered more ownership, flexibility, and room to keep learning.
That path led me into websites and online business in 2014. I started with WordPress and local SEO, then learned ecommerce, sales funnels, lead qualification, pricing, automation, APIs, and modern web development. I also earned a business degree from Western Governors University and a certificate in marketing, giving me a formal foundation for the business and customer-acquisition side of the work.
What connects both careers is the responsibility behind the work. Whether an artist is trusting you with a performance or a business owner is trusting you with their customer pipeline, the job is to listen carefully, solve the technical problem, and make sure the result works when it matters.
Today, I build fast websites, pricing tools, intake flows, and automation systems that help businesses look credible and turn interest into qualified leads. I’m especially interested in opportunities where I can combine hands-on development with business judgment, client empathy, and ownership from idea through launch.
